The Last Word

Journals with pen and photos

I Get It Taylor Swift

Don’t be fooled by my silence when you leave. I simply understand and respect words more than you do, so when I get around to saying my peace just remember a words girl always gets the last one and sometimes it rhymes.

I am not a tool and don’t think me a fool

These games you play are downright cruel

Lucky for me you just gave me some fuel

However I’m sorry you didn’t learn

That a word girl will make you burn

She’s the quiet type who lets you think you’ve won

And when you least expect it, her words will make you come undone

Cause see she also watches and pays attention

Might be something she forgot to mention

But when she speaks, boy you will feel

The power of her words will make you reel

She won’t hold back, nope she did that before

Now she’s learned she deserves much more

And because she knows the tongue holds life and death

She won’t leave you without your breath

However she will have that last word

Of that you can be sure

And when she goes back to being quiet

You will feel the urge to start a riot

But just be careful of what you say

Because her words will come back to haunt you someday
